A map of everything for sale around you

LOOK81 is a local marketplace built around one simple idea: the things you actually need are usually a few miles away, not on the other side of the country. Instead of scrolling endless national listings, visitors open the map and see what is close by right now.

The app does two jobs in one place. The marketplace side lists cars for sale, with the details that matter when you are buying: price, mileage, year, fuel type and whether the seller is private or trade. The business side is a living directory of local services, from mobile tyre fitters and mechanics to vehicle recovery, so a stranded driver or a householder can find someone nearby and call them directly.

LOOK81 is for anyone buying or selling locally. Private sellers can post an ad in a couple of minutes, small businesses can put themselves on the map, and buyers can search by distance from where they are standing. There is no account needed to browse, and every listing carries a phone number so a deal can be closed with a call rather than a message thread.

The site is built and maintained by the small LOOK81 team in the United Kingdom, with a focus on speed on a phone, honest listings and local coverage. If you spot something that looks wrong or have a suggestion, we would like to hear from you.
